Happy New Year from Men for Inclusion

Happy New Year from Men for Inclusion

Hello Everyone,

We just thought we’d touch base with you all at the start of a fresh new year.

First off, we’d like to thank all of you for being such amazing partners for Men for Inclusion throughout 2023.  It was a significant year for us as we became our own limited company with a full-time workforce (albeit a small one).

Because of you and your support, we were able to create more connections, more learning and more insight than ever before.  We also had 2 notable events that garnered a lot of attention.

Mark gave evidence at the Treasury Select Committee’s review into Sexism in the City – if you missed it, you can watch that back here.

Gary presented on how to engage the silent male majority at UN Women’s gender equality conference in South Korea – you can watch that here.

We’ve attached our 2023 year in numbers infographic, but to give you one headline number – we delivered our content in real time to 1,042 people in 2023. Sometimes it does feel like we are trying to change the world one conversation at a time...and that’s a lot of conversations.

But we know that that is not enough. There is a lot more work to do in what we believe is the largest change transformation in the history of business – creating a truly equitable and inclusive workplace. However, with the strength and support of this formidable network of inclusion leaders, we think we can make an even bigger impact in 2024.

Here’s how:

We want to increase the volume of workshops and programmes we deliver in 2024 by at least 100% - we are extending our tried and trusted ADUCE programme, which has had the most incredible feedback, to add new options on how organisations can embed change into their everyday work activities.

We will continue to give back any new learning from our work in a series of events available to our network and beyond as well as regular content via LinkedIn and other venues.

With increasing interest by governments and regulators into workplace inclusion, we are planning to work across industries and sectors to support organisations in their responses to this increasing pressure that will come from multiple directions as the true risk of lack of D&I becomes more and more apparent.

We will be launching our male champion research to help organisations understand what motivates men to engage in DEI related activities

As you and your organisation think about your DEI strategy for 2024, we’d like you to remember that Men for Inclusion are a resource for you to leverage. Don’t hesitate to get in contact if you think we can help.

Here’s to a successful 2024. We are looking forward to seeing all of you at some point during the year.

All the best,
