Equality Starts at Home, E2W and Men for Inclusion for a Safe Space Event for International Men’s Day.

From your PC, laptop or phone - Via ZOOM

Join Equality Starts at Home, E2W and Men for Inclusion for a Safe Space Event for International Men's Day to discuss the positive value men bring to the world, their families and communities.

We are delighted to be partnering with Equality Starts at Home for this week's Inclusionist Interactions session. They aim to build a movement for change. They believe that equality at home will enable women to fulfil their potential and will ultimately create a better society for all. They also believe in diversity, inclusion and anti-discrimination in all its forms.

This session is hosted by: Jago Brown (ESAH) and Mark Freed (E2W/Men for Inclusion)

Jago Brown: Special Advisor - Men's role in the Home

Jago works in international education as Commercial Director of UKLC, a business organising English language travel opportunities to under 18’s. He is a board trustee of the national association for language travel, English UK. He’s a father of 3, working parent, dad advocate and has been a stay-at-home parent. He has a passion for normalising the role men have in childcare, unpaid work and emotional labour in the home. He is currently working with Lead5050, an organisation promoting equality in leadership, leading their ‘Men 4 Equality’ campaign to get more men to join the conversation about gender equality.

Mark Freed: CEO E2W and Men for Inclusion

I am English, born in Birmingham I moved to London at the age of 5. I am dyslexic and with little support or understanding from schools I failed miserably academically and left education as soon as I could with no qualifications.

In the early 2000’s my journey took a very different path when I co-founded E2W and organisation that is focussed on supporting and helping women in their financial services careers and helping financial institutions to attract, recruit and retain them.  This year E2W will make a real difference to the careers and lives of over 800 women. Through the support we give them via our membership programme and by partnering with Financial Institutions who want to recruit, retain and help them flourish.

Frustrated at the pace of change on the journey to an inclusive and diverse industry in 2021 I launched Men for Inclusion, with my partners, to help more men in the majority groups to become true advocated for inclusion.  I am doing this because I'm passionate about the economic and social benefits. More men need to get on board with the agenda. Today, we have the opportunity to drive lasting change.

Please join us at 6pm, on Tuesday 15th November on Zoom:
