The backlash to the backlash grows………
Yet another research paper was issued last week that shows how critical DEI efforts are to business success.
The London School of Economics & New York University’s School of Law took a look at a key overlooked stakeholder in the supposed rush to dismantle DEI programmes: the consumer.
Their research showed:
🛍️ 70 per cent of surveyed consumers are more likely to buy from companies that actively support DEI
🛍️ Among Gen Z and women, these numbers rise to 78 and 74 per cent respectively
🛍️ More than a third (36 per cent) say they plan to boycott a company that scales back this work
