The Accidental Sexist now available in Korean: A global step forward for inclusion

We’re thrilled to announce a new milestone for The Accidental Sexist: the book has now been officially published in Korean! This marks the second language edition of the book, following four years of impact and conversation around workplace inclusion since its original release.

Co-authors Gary Ford, Jill Armstrong, and Stephen Koch shared their excitement as the Korean edition launched earlier this month, thanks to the incredible support and belief in the project from South Korean social innovation company MYSC.

“A momentous day for Jill Armstrong, Stephen Koch and myself as The Accidental Sexist is published in its second language – Korean.” – Gary Ford

#1 Bestseller to global impact

Originally released in 2020, The Accidental Sexist quickly gained traction and was, at one point, the #1 rated book in HR & Personnel Management on Amazon – even briefly overtaking Simon Sinek’s works in the rankings. Four years on, its message remains just as vital, if not more so.

Despite progress in workplace diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), the need for everyday inclusion practices and leadership awareness has never been more urgent. The translation and release in Korea is a testament to the book’s relevance and growing global resonance.

A team effort across continents

The Korean edition would not have been possible without the dedication and collaboration of the team at MYSC, along with a number of key individuals who helped bring the project to life:

Yeji Lee, Jeong Tae Kim, Yunji Ha, Ahjung Lee, Sohee Kim, and Elspeth Stewart – thank you all for your passion, hard work, and belief in the message of this book.

Or, as Gary put it: “Gamsahamnida!”

What’s next?

With the Korean edition now available, The Accidental Sexist continues to foster important conversations around inclusion in new cultural contexts. Whether you’re just discovering the book or have followed its journey since day one, we’re excited to see how it contributes to change around the world.
