DEI is for Everyone – Including Straight White Men

Anyone who thinks Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) isn’t about straight white men—here’s yet another reason why it absolutely is.

Too often, discussions about parental leave, flexible working, and caregiving responsibilities focus solely on women. Yet men—especially those in leadership—also face outdated assumptions about their roles at work and at home.

True DEI isn’t just about representation; it’s about challenging biases that affect everyone. It’s about creating a culture where men feel equally supported in taking parental leave, prioritising family, and working flexibly—without fear of judgment.

This isn’t just a women’s issue. It’s a workplace issue. And it’s one more reason why DEI benefits everyone.
