FuSed Ambassadors – Strengthening Inclusion at Flotation Energy

Louise Doherty, Head of People and Culture, knows that as Flotation Energy continues to grow, sustaining its entrepreneurial spirit and fostering a culture of inclusion requires ongoing commitment.

Yesterday, Stacey Will and I had the privilege of working with the FuSed Ambassadors, helping them explore lived experience gaps, engage others, and define the actions they’ll take to drive inclusion.

The feedback speaks for itself:
✅ 4.6/5 knowledge gain on inclusion after the session
✅ 9/10 would recommend the workshop to colleagues

What resonated most? The group discussions, collaboration, and the courage to challenge perspectives. Attendees shared how the experience helped them broaden their understanding of gender, race, and neurodiversity. Others highlighted the value of challenging self-limiting behaviours and engaging in open, judgment-free conversations.

One participant put it perfectly: “The collaboration everywhere we challenged each other’s perspectives and learned about our own and others limiting behaviour.”

Another shared: “Great to think more about how I can affect change within my team and also support the wider Flotation Energy culture.”

It was inspiring to witness the energy in the room and the commitment of these Ambassadors to shaping an inclusive future. Excited for what’s next!
