Preparing for International Women’s Day 2024

Preparing for our Men for Inclusion, International Women's Day 2024, keynotes and events we have been reflecting on the evolution of themes. We've observed a shift from emphasizing biases, challenges, and the lack of progress towards gender equality to themes encouraging everyone to 'embrace' and 'inspire' for the broader benefits of 'equity' and 'inclusion'.
Emma Watson's powerful words during the 2014 launch of #HeForShe at the United Nations / UN Women resonate deeply with this transformation: "We don’t often talk about men being imprisoned by gender stereotypes, but I can see that they are and that when they are free, things will change for women as a natural consequence."
It's heartening to witness this subtle change in focus. Often, discussions around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion inadvertently sideline the participation of men. By inspiring and involving them, illustrating the mutual benefits, we believe we can create a more inclusive and equitable world for everyone. #inspireinclusion
