It’s fantastic to see HM Treasury’s continued commitment to the Women in Finance Charter, championed by Emma Reynolds MP. Since E2W helped launch in 2016, the Charter has driven significant progress, with female senior representation rising from 27% to 35% and over 400 organisations signing up to drive change. 👏
But as Emma rightly points out, progress at 1% per year is simply not fast enough. Waiting until 2038 to achieve gender parity in financial services is not an option. We need to act now—because when women thrive, our entire economy benefits. 💡
This is a call to action for all leaders, influencers, and change-makers in finance to double down on their efforts, break barriers, and accelerate inclusion. Let’s move beyond commitments and drive real, measurable change.
