How Our Inclusion Masterclass is Engaging Allies & Leaders to Close the Lived Experience Gap

Our Inclusion Champion Masterclass in Aberdeen on 26th March 2025 was an incredible experience, bringing together passionate professionals committed to driving meaningful change in workplace culture. Co-hosted by Mark Freed and Stacey Will, the session provided a powerful taster of our ADUCE programme, focusing on engaging the traditionally passive majority, particularly men, alongside leaders and culture carriers to create inclusive workplaces.

Real Stories, Real Impact

We had some fantastic feedback from attendees with one sharing a powerful example of accidental sexism in real time, observing how women in a discussion struggled to reclaim their voices in a conversation dominated by men. This experience led to immediate reflection and action, with the attendee sharing their insights with colleagues to foster greater awareness and change.

Another participant highlighted the importance of engaging everyone in DEI—not just underrepresented groups. They emphasised how societal stereotypes affect all genders and how fostering inclusion benefits everyone by allowing people to break free from limiting expectations.

Moving Forward

The feedback has been phenomenal, with many attendees already taking action, whether by integrating DEI moments into team discussions, initiating workplace conversations, or driving organisational change from within.
