Earlier this week, Men for Inclusion was proud to host our latest Inclusion Masterclass in Aberdeen, a powerful and practical afternoon dedicated to exploring how we can all become more inclusive leaders and colleagues.
Led by Mark Freed and Stacey Will, the session welcomed a packed room of professionals across industries, all ready to explore how inclusion can become a shared, actionable priority in the workplace. This was more than just another DEI training. It was an honest, interactive and energising deep dive into the foundations of our ADUCE programme, a proven approach to building inclusive workplace cultures, especially by engaging those who may not typically see themselves in the inclusion conversation.
During the three-hour session, we explored:
What it means to build Awareness and Desire for change;
How to develop Understanding and Capability around inclusive behaviours;
And most importantly, how to Embed Change that lasts.
We’re always grateful to receive honest reflections after our sessions, and this one was no exception:
“Had a great afternoon at the Men for Inclusion workshop where we explored gender diversity and inclusion. I think everyone in the room today would agree that a diverse workforce has undeniable benefits to a business.”
– Gemma Graham, IS PMO at New European Offshore
“The session was thought-provoking and forward-thinking, offering valuable insights on how to drive meaningful change… If you get the chance to attend, I highly recommend it!”
– Mairi Reid, Head of HR Global Offshore at Aramark
“It was great to hear a number of lived experiences, share some of my own and become more self-aware to help me be a better and more inclusive leader and colleague.”
– Andrew Brooks, Director of New Ventures at North Sea Transition Authority
“Highly recommend attending if you get the opportunity.”
– Lisa Williamson, Employment and Skills Policy Adviser at OEUK
“The workshop focused on tackling gender inequality in the workplace… Having the chance to be in a room full of like-minded individuals made the day even more meaningful.”
– Shanice Robertson
“Key takeaway: real inclusion takes active effort from all of us. The insights shared really challenged me to think about how we support allyship and drive inclusive leadership in our organisation.”
– Lisa Muir, HR Manager at Ponticelli UK
At Men for Inclusion, we believe inclusion is everyone’s business, and it starts with making space for these honest, often uncomfortable, but always necessary conversations.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us in Aberdeen and contributed so openly. We’re already looking forward to the next masterclass.
